Opening of energy markets

The liberalisation of energy markets led to significant changes in the business environment of specialist engineering contractors. On the one hand, new competitors entered the market, while one the other new business opportunities emerged.
In particular, the CEETB:

	Protects and promotes the role of specialist building contractors in the liberalised energy markets;
	Works towards a level playing field for the provision of energy (efficiency) services in the liberalised energy markets;
	Contributes to the discussion on white (energy efficiency) certificates at all levels;

The CEETB has established a dedicated working group on the opening of energy markets.
